2009 Lahore Police Academy Attack
On March 30, 2009, militants disguised as police officers launched a coordinated assault on the Manawan Police Training School in Lahore, Pakistan. The siege lasted nearly eight hours, leaving at least 19 people dead (including police, civilians, and attackers), more than 95 injured, and exposing critical vulnerabilities in Pakistan’s urban security.
