The 1990 Manjil–Rudbar Earthquake
On June 21, 1990, a magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck northern Iran, devastating the towns of Manjil, Rudbar, and surrounding areas. The Murders of Chaney, Goodman, and Schwerner
